Overview

FwCAD respects user privacy. This policy explains how we handle information related to our website, support communication, and software products.

Information We Collect

When you contact us by email, we may receive your name, email address, company name, CAD or BIM platform details, screenshots, logs, sample files, and any other information you choose to send.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to respond to support requests, improve our software, investigate technical issues, and communicate about FwCAD products and services.

Optional Website Analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page views, engagement time, enquiry-link clicks and accepted contact submissions. Google receives usage and device/browser information and uses analytics cookies to distinguish visits. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, company name or enquiry message to Google Analytics.

Analytics is disabled until you choose Allow analytics. You may decline and continue using the site, including the contact form. Use Analytics settings in the footer to change your choice. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, it applies only to the current page. Changing your choice to decline stops future analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site; it does not erase data previously sent to Google.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our website configuration. Page URLs sent by our configuration omit query strings and fragments; referring URLs are reduced to their website origin. Analytics may be incomplete when visitors decline, block tracking or leave before data is transmitted.

Software Data

FwCAD software is intended to operate primarily within the user environment and does not require users to submit drawing files or model files to us for normal support communication. If a user voluntarily sends sample files, screenshots, or logs for support, those files are used only for troubleshooting and product improvement.

Support Diagnostics

Some products may include optional diagnostic tools for troubleshooting user-selected cases. Any related support files are saved by the user and are shared with FwCAD only if the user chooses to send them to us.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only when required by law, needed to protect our rights, or necessary to provide support through trusted service providers.

Retention

Support emails and related files may be retained for as long as needed to provide support, maintain business records, and improve product quality.
